Refund Policy

At Instrumaster Calibration Lab Private Limited (ICLPL), we are committed to delivering high-quality metrology and calibration services. Since our work involves technical expertise, laboratory resources, and the issuance of formal certificates our refund process is governed by the following professional guidelines.

1. Scope of Refunds

Refunds are generally applicable only in specific scenarios where the service has not been fully rendered or if there is a verified billing error.

  • Service Non-Performance: If a service is cancelled by ICLPL due to unforeseen technical limitations or equipment failure a 100% refund will be issued to the client.
  • Duplicate Payments: Any excess amount paid due to technical glitches or duplicate transactions will be refunded in full after verification.
  • Pre-Service Cancellation: If a client cancels a work order before the logistics or calibration process has started, the advance payment will be refunded—subject to a nominal administrative deduction.

2. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Due to the nature of laboratory work refunds cannot be provided in the following cases:

  • Issued Certificates: Once a calibration certificate has been generated and shared, the service is considered "delivered." No refunds will be entertained at this stage.
  • Instrument Rejection: If an instrument is found to be "Non-functional" or "Out of Repair" during testing, a Basic Inspection Fee is charged to cover the engineer's time; this fee is non-refundable.
  • On-Site Logistics: Any charges related to the mobilization of our team or transport of master equipment to a client site are non-refundable once the team has departed from our facility.

3. Refund Processing Timeline

We aim to process all valid refund requests with transparency and speed:

  • Verification: Once a request is received our finance team will verify the service status within 3 working days.
  • Settlement: Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment source (Bank Account/UPI) within 7–10 business days.
  • Documentation: Clients may be asked to provide proof of payment or a formal request on their company letterhead to initiate the process.

4. Disputed Measurements

If a client is dissatisfied with the calibration results, we offer a Technical Review instead of a refund. Our quality manager will re-verify the measurement data. If a genuine error is found on our part  we will re-calibrate the instrument at no additional cost.
